Description

The general scope of work consists of providing a new SDG&E service to the existing City pump station, including installation of a new concrete pad, meter and disconnect switch; intercepting and extending the pump building feeder; and coordinating with SDG&E to re-establish a new 120/240, 3 phase, 4 wire service. The project also includes removal and replacement of the existing storm water pump automatic control system with a new pump control system, reconnecting all existing power and control conductors, and commissioning the new pump control system. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating and obtaining a Caltrans encroachment permit for all work within the right-of-way and for providing all necessary notifications and coordination with the City, SDG&E, and Caltrans. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating directly with the required agencies to obtain all required encroachment permits, including an emergency encroachment permit if applicable, for work impacting the adjacent freeway off-ramp.
