Storm Water Management Services

Background
The Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified vendors for Stormwater Management services at nine State Vehicular Recreation Areas (SVRAs).

The goal of this contract is to ensure effective stormwater management practices that align with the agency's mission to protect California's natural resources while providing recreational opportunities.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive stormwater management services, which include but are not limited to:

- Assessing current stormwater management practices
- Developing and implementing stormwater management plans
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of stormwater facilities
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Providing training and support to park staff regarding stormwater management.

The work will be managed through Work Orders issued after an Authorization to Commence Work Notice is received. The contract will extend for five years upon approval by the Department of General Services (DGS).

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon DGS approval and will last for five years. Work is expected to start with an Authorization to Commence Work Notice.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at nine designated State Vehicular Recreation Areas (SVRAs) across California.
