Social Service Programs at San Fernando Gardens

Background
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) is one of the largest public housing authorities in the nation, providing quality affordable housing to residents. HACLA manages over 9,400 housing units and administers assistance for more than 58,000 families.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to procure social services programs at the San Fernando Gardens Public Housing Social Hall, located at 10995 Lehigh Avenue, Los Angeles, California. The goal is to enhance community engagement and support through various programs targeting youth, adults, and seniors.

Work Details
The selected Lead Agency will coordinate comprehensive services and programs within the San Fernando Gardens community. This includes managing activities in the Social Hall and surrounding areas such as playgrounds and basketball courts.

The Lead Agency must demonstrate capacity for program administration and sustainability over a two-year period with options for three one-year extensions. Proposals should include partnerships with existing organizations and plans for new collaborations to develop meaningful programs. Specific services may include youth programs for ages 6-18, adult education, senior activities, and family support initiatives.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is two years with three optional one-year extensions based on mutual agreement.
