Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing a contracting opportunity for Laundry Services specifically for the CAL FIRE Tulare Unit (TUU). The goal of this contract is to ensure that CAL FIRE has access to necessary laundering services, which includes the rental, delivery, and laundering of various items such as coveralls and shop towels. This initiative supports CAL FIRE's mission to provide effective fire protection and forestry management in California.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary for laundry services at three locations: TUU Headquarters in Visalia, Porterville Fire Station, and Woodlake Fire Station. The services include:

1. Weekly rentals of cotton coveralls (67 units at TUU HQ), cloth shop towels (200 units at TUU HQ), and microfiber towels (50 units).

2. Every other week rentals of fender covers (3 units), floor mats in various sizes (15 units at Porterville FS), and additional floor mats at Woodlake FS.

3. All items must be in good condition without rips or tears; damaged items must be replaced by the contractor.

4. The contractor is responsible for maintaining an inventory of all items provided, including details on item count and estimated useful life.

5. Delivery and collection of laundered items must be documented with signatures from CAL FIRE representatives.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on August 15, 2025, and will expire on August 14, 2028. Services will be performed during normal working hours from Monday to Friday.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the following locations:

1. TUU Headquarters: 1968 S. Lovers Lane, Visalia, CA 93292

2. Porterville Fire Station: 26488 Avenue 140, Porterville, CA 93257

3. Woodlake Fire Station: 35802 Olivera Drive, Woodlake, CA 93286

Bidder Requirements
Only California Certified Small Businesses are eligible to submit quotes for this contract. Bidders must have at least two years of experience providing laundry services and comply with wage and employee benefit requirements as outlined in Government Code Section 19134. Additionally, bidders must submit required documentation including a Rate Sheet, Payee Data Information form (STD 204), Contractor Certification Clauses form (CCC 04/2017), Bidder Declaration Form (GSPD-05-105), and quotes from SB/DVBE subcontractors.
