Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is implementing communication systems for a traffic signal camera to support the CHP Camera Project. This initiative was launched in response to a tragic incident, the shooting death of a child in Orange County on SR-55 @ Katella. The modems will facilitate communication between the cameras at intersections and the Traffic Management Center (TMC). The feeds from these cameras will be utilized by the CHP for law enforcement purposes as part of this statewide effort.
Work Details
The specific contribution will be along PCH on a construction project.
Hundreds of Sierra Wireless Airlink XR80 Routers were purchased by HQ Operations for this cooperative effort between the CHP and Caltrans.

Delivery Date: 60 days from Quote Due Date
Place of Performance
Delivery: Final delivery, inspection, and acceptance shall be at the location indicated on the shipping address.
