Background
Gold Coast Transit District (GCTD) is seeking proposals for uniformed security services at its facility located at 1901 Auto Center Drive, Oxnard, CA 93036. GCTD provides local bus and paratransit services to member jurisdictions including Oxnard, Ventura, Port Hueneme, Ojai, and unincorporated areas of Western Ventura County.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of GCTD's facilities and operations.
Work Details
The contractor will provide uniformed security services which include: all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the provision of these services.
Specific tasks include maintaining a Guards Daily Activity Report (DAR), filling out incident reports for any incidents occurring during post assignments, providing tracking devices for guards during their nightly rounds, and developing written standing Post Orders.
The contract will cover both unarmed and armed guard services with specific hourly rates outlined for regular hours as well as holiday coverage.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be for a base period of three years with options to renew for up to two additional one-year periods.

The services will be performed at the Gold Coast Transit District facility located at 1901 Auto Center Drive, Oxnard, CA 93036.
Bidder Requirements
Offerors must provide proof of licensing as required by California law. No Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal is established for this procurement.
Offerors must submit financial statements audited by a third party and provide evidence of insurance coverage as specified in the RFP. Additionally, Offerors must comply with all federal certifications required under the solicitation.
