Description

Contractor shall furnish to Caltrans labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to remove existing roofing material and furnish and install an induction adhered Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing system consisting of thermoplastic polyolefin roofing membrane, cover board, insulation, flashing, bonding adhesive, fasteners, roof drains, and other accessories and components, not mentioned, which are required for a complete, securely fastened and weather tight installation, and furnish and install window tinting. Bidder shall be a certified small business registered with the Department of General Services (DGS). Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #11A4102 for roofing services in San Diego County. The purpose of this contract is to acquire construction services for the removal and installation of roofing systems, which aligns with Caltrans' mission to maintain and improve California's transportation infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to remove existing roofing material and furnish and install an induction adhered Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing system. This includes:
- Thermoplastic polyolefin roofing membrane
- Cover board
- Insulation
- Flashing
- Bonding adhesive
- Fasteners
- Roof drains
- Other accessories and components required for a complete, securely fastened, and weather-tight installation.

Additionally, the contractor will furnish and install window tinting on 18 windows.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on May 1, 2025, or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later. The estimated expiration date of the contract is April 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the District 11 Escondido Maintenance Station located at 1780 West Mission Avenue, Escondido, CA 92029 within San Diego County.
