*SB/DVBE ONLY* IFPQ Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services in Los Angeles County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #07A6126 for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services in Los Angeles County.
The contract aims to replace existing HVAC units and related equipment to ensure efficient climate control within state facilities. This solicitation is authorized under Government Code Section 14838.7, which allows for contracts valued between $5,000 and $461,000 to be awarded to certified small businesses or disabled veteran business enterprises.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, permits, vehicles, travel, fees, taxes, and incidentals required to:
1. Decommission and remove two existing HVAC units and two down blast roof top exhaust fans.
2. Furnish and install two new HVAC package units with the following specifications:
- New thermostats
- Automatic transfer switch
- Temperature monitoring and reporting system
- Two new exhaust fans.
3. Conduct a one-time inspection and service of the ducting for the entire building.
The work will take place at Caltrans District 07 Alameda Facility located at 1740 East 15th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as a small business or a disabled veteran business enterprise by the Department of General Services (DGS). They must also possess a valid Contractor's State License Board (CSLB) license appropriate for the work being undertaken and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement.
