Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a California Class 'A' contractor's license. Additionally, they are required to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) as part of their bid proposal. Compliance with prevailing wage laws is mandatory, and all contractors or subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders are also required to provide bid security in the form of cash, cashier’s check, or a corporate surety bond amounting to at least 10% of their total bid.
