Background
The Agricultural Labor Relations Board (ALRB) is seeking a vendor to provide coordination and logistics services for a multi-agency cross-training program aimed at improving outreach and service delivery to California farmworkers. The program addresses ongoing violations of health, safety, and pay laws affecting farmworkers, who often lack access to state services. The goal is to enhance awareness of workers' rights and streamline access to reporting mechanisms for workplace violations.
The contract will span two fiscal years from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027, with a total budget of up to $800,000.
Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for developing a comprehensive training calendar for approximately 40 trainings targeting over 500 state employees across multiple counties including Sacramento, Merced, Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, Indio, and Monterey/Ventura. Specific tasks include:
- Identifying venues
- Coordinating audiovisual (AV) needs
- Recording training sessions
- Ensuring cultural competency in training delivery
- Facilitating hybrid training formats.
The vendor must also support the ALRB in implementing multi-module inter-agency training series that equip staff with knowledge about various workplace rights and services provided by the Labor Workforce Development Agency (LWDA).
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various counties in California including Sacramento, Merced, Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, Indio, and Monterey/Ventura.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate at least three years of experience in conference/event planning and managing large-scale educational seminars. They must have executed at least five events in California using hybrid formats and successfully managed events with over 100 participants. Proposals must include evidence of qualifications such as resumes and references. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to engage certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) or Small Business (SB) subcontractors.
