Description

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #04A7509 for Routine and Non-Routine Water Pumps Services in Santa Clara County. 1) Routine maintenance services (120 hours),
2) Auxiliary pump rental (36 days),
3) Non-routine maintenance for shop repair work (150 hours),
4) Non-routine maintenance for field repair work (150 hours),
5) Non-routine machine shop work (100 hours),
6) Supply of spares for water pump motor (2 each).
The total bid proposal must not exceed $484,000.00.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on June 30, 2026, or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later. The agreement will expire on June 29, 2029.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Santa Clara County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), a Confined Space Certification issued by OSHA, and a valid C-61/D-21 Machinery and Pumps and C-31 Construction Zone Traffic Control Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB). Bidders are encouraged to subcontract at least 25% of their net bid price to certified Small Businesses or Micro Businesses. A DVBE participation requirement of 5% applies.
