Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #03A4003 for the routine and non-routine maintenance of Water Recycling, Steam Cleaning, Pressure Washing, and Industrial Vehicle Vacuum equipment across various locations in Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of essential equipment used by Caltrans at its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to troubleshoot, service, maintain, repair and/or replace parts of Water Recycling, Steam Cleaning, Pressure Washing, and Industrial Vehicle Vacuum equipment at various Caltrans owned properties.

Specific tasks include:
1) Annual routine troubleshooting and servicing;
2) Non-routine troubleshooting and servicing as needed.

The services will be performed at designated Caltrans District 03 locations including but not limited to Auburn Maintenance Station, Chico MS, Elk Grove MS among others. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue as specified in the final agreement. The total bid proposal must not exceed $461,000.00.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Caltrans owned properties in District 03 located in Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid D-21 Machinery and Pumps Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) at the time of bid submission. Additionally:
1) Bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR);
2) Bidders are encouraged to participate in Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) programs;
3) A non-collusion declaration for Public Works must be submitted;
4) Insurance requirements as outlined in the Proposed Form of Agreement must be met.
