Roof Replacement Services – Product Only

Background
The State of California, through the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, is seeking bids for roofing materials to be delivered to the California State Prison, LAC.

This project is critical for Facility Planning Construction and Management (FPCM) and aims to ensure a complete roofing system is provided for installation by the state. The solicitation emphasizes compliance with safety standards and design criteria.

Work Details
This contract involves the provision of a complete roofing system, which includes:
- Thermoplastic roofing membrane (PVC, 80 mil), adhered with factory-applied felt backing in specified roll sizes.
- Sheet metal products.
- Adhesives and sealants.
- Technical assistance for on-site inspection and training.
- A ten-year manufacturer's warranty.
- Submittals including product data sheets and installation instructions.
- Delivery of roofing materials upon request of the Construction Supervisor.

Specific quantities, descriptions, costs, brands, and models must be included in the bid. Bidders are required to provide an FM Global list for wind uplift and must attend a mandatory walk-thru on October 9, 2024.

Period of Performance
The delivery of materials is expected within 90 days after the purchase order is issued and after submittals have been approved.

Bids must remain valid until the purchase order has been issued.
