Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for roof maintenance services at the Riverside Area Office. The CHP's mission is to ensure the safety and security of California's highways. This contract aims to maintain the integrity and functionality of the roofing systems at their facilities, ensuring a safe environment for CHP operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive roof maintenance services as outlined in Exhibit A, which includes:
- Regular inspections
- Repairs
- Cleaning of gutters and downspouts
- Sealing of joints and seams
- Replacement of damaged roofing materials
- Any other necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the roof's longevity and effectiveness.

The contractor must possess a valid C-39 Roofing Contractor license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on September 1, 2025, and will run through August 31, 2028. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the CHP Riverside Area Office located at 8118 Lincoln Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific qualifications including:
- Possession of a valid C-39 Roofing Contractor license
- Registration with DIR
- Proof of liability insurance
- Certification that they are not an expatriate corporation
- A history of sound business integrity.

Additionally, bidders must participate in a mandatory walk-through at the job site prior to submitting their bid.
