Rfq - X Site Compatible Multi Gas Detectors

Background
The County of San Diego, through its Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ), is seeking quotations from qualified firms to provide X-site compatible Multi-Gas Detectors. The purpose of this procurement is to equip the Hazardous Incident Response Team (HIRT) with essential tools that will facilitate collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other local agencies. This will ensure seamless operation and data sharing across interagency systems.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of X-site compatible Multi-Gas Detectors, specifically those meeting or exceeding the specifications of the Dräger X-am 8000 model. The required items include:

1. Multi-Gas Detectors with sensors/filters such as PID HC, Dual IR-EX/CO2 ES, XXS CI2, XXS NH3, XXS HCN, and Dräger Selective Filter B2X.
2. Calibration accessories including Dräger X-dock module and charging equipment.
3. Hardware accessories like pressure regulators, sampling hoses, USB DIRA with cables, and various test gases.
4. Training for up to 20 students on device operation and maintenance for a duration of 2 hours.
5. All products must be new and packaged appropriately to meet performance specifications.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins upon award and continues until all products are delivered and training is completed as specified in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the products is the Department of Environmental Health and Quality at 5570 Overland Ave., Suite 102, San Diego, CA 92123.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Professional Liability. Additionally, bidders are required to provide a California Seller's Permit if applicable. The contractor must also ensure compliance with federal provisions regarding debarment and suspension.
