Background
The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide essential medical supplies for trauma kits. The primary goal of this contract is to ensure that the San Diego County Sheriff's Office has adequate supplies of QuikClot Combat Gauze and Halo Chest Seals, which are critical for emergency medical response. This initiative supports the County's mission to maintain public safety and health.

Work Details
The contractor will supply the following items:

1. QuikClot Combat Gauze: vacuum packed Z-folded hemostatic dressing, one sterile strip measuring 3 inches x 4 yards. Quantity: 500 units.

2. Halo Chest Seal: hydrogel occlusive adhesive dressing for open chest wounds, packaged in two-packs, capable of adhering to skin under various conditions (sweat, blood, hair, sand, or water). Quantity: 500 units.

3. Shipping costs for the delivery of these items. All products must be new with a shelf life of at least five years and delivered within thirty (30) days of order placement to the specified address.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one year from the date of award, with options to extend for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to the San Diego County Sheriff, Attn: Weapons Training Unit, 440 Alta Road, San Diego, CA 92158. Deliveries are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, excluding County holidays.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must submit a completed Offeror’s Cover Page (PC600), Representations and Certifications form (PC601), Small-Local Business Self-Certification Form (PC610), and Nondisclosure Indemnification Agreement (PC620) if submitting confidential/proprietary information. All submissions should comply with the requirements outlined in the RFQ.
