RFQ for On-Call Engineering Design Services

Background
The County of Yuba is seeking proposals for On-Call Engineering Design Services to support various County projects. The goal of this contract is to engage a consultant who can provide professional engineering services, including surveying, to meet the needs of the County effectively.

Work Details
The CONSULTANT shall provide professional engineering services as detailed in Attachment 'A', which includes:
1. **Scope of Services and Duties**: The CONSULTANT will perform engineering design services as specified in Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2 attached to the agreement.
2. **Time Services Rendered**: Services will be performed on dates mutually agreed upon by the COUNTY and CONSULTANT.
3. **Manner of Performance**: Services must be provided in a professional manner, with regular meetings between the CONSULTANT’s Project Manager and COUNTY’s Contract Administrator to discuss progress.
4. **Facilities and Equipment**: The CONSULTANT is responsible for providing all necessary facilities, equipment, and materials unless otherwise stated in Attachment 'A'.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the date of execution and will continue for three years, with an option for a 90-day automatic extension unless terminated earlier by either party.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Yuba County, California.

Bidder Requirements
The CONSULTANT must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws including labor laws regarding prevailing wages. Additionally, the CONSULTANT must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if performing public work elements. The contract includes a goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation set at 19%.
