Rfq- Consultant For Writing Quality Assurance Manual And Standard Operating Procedures

Background
The County of San Diego, specifically the Department of Medical Examiner, is seeking a consultant to assist in writing a Quality Assurance Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.

This initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with established standards and improve operational efficiency within the Toxicology Laboratory.

Work Details
The consultant will be responsible for developing a comprehensive Quality Assurance Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with relevant standards such as ISO 17025:2017, AR 3125, ANSI/ASB Standards, and the American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT) Standards.

The work will include drafting policies, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory requirements. The consultant must demonstrate experience in these areas and provide references from similar projects completed in the last five years.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue through December 31, 2025.

There may be options to extend the contract for an additional one to six months based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the County of San Diego's facilities or remotely as required by the project needs.
