Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive pest control services on an as-needed basis at any County-owned, leased, or operated facility. Services include immediate pest control for issues not addressed by Integrated Pest Control (IPC) staff. Specific services include rodent control (identification, trapping, exclusion), insect pest management (including cockroaches and bed bugs), and bee removals. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local pesticide laws and maintain valid licenses including a Pest Control Business license and a Qualified Applicator License. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all personnel meet County requirements including background checks.
Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to begin upon award and extend through June 30, 2027, with four one-year option periods available.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout all geographic regions of San Diego County at various facilities including hospitals, parks, detention facilities, and other properties managed by the County.
