Rfq - 2024 Newer/Unused Kia Sportage X-Line Phev

Background
The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide one (1) 2024 or newer/unused Kia Sportage X-Line PHEV or a County approved equivalent.
This request for quotation (RFQ No. 1288) was issued on November 18, 2024, and aims to fulfill the County's transportation needs while adhering to their procurement guidelines.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide:
1. One (1) 2024 or newer/unused Kia Sportage X-Line PHEV or an equivalent vehicle.
2. The vehicle must have an exterior color of white, silver, grey, or black and an interior color of Saturn Black, equipped with standard features.
3. The vehicle must conform to Federal and California emissions standards.
4. The contractor must register the vehicle in California and provide a temporary license plate as per California law, with registration made out to the County of San Diego at their specified address.
5. Updates on the status of the order must be provided at 30, 60, 90, and 120 days after receipt of the purchase order.
6. Delivery of the purchased vehicle must occur no later than 120 days after receipt of the purchase order.
7. Vehicles must arrive fully functional with no error messages on the dashboard and must be delivered with a full tank of fuel (90% or above) for gas/diesel vehicles or fully charged (80% or above) for electric vehicles.
8. All outfitting required by the contract must be completed prior to delivery.
9. The contractor is responsible for any damages prior to acceptance by Fleet Services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period starting from the issuance date on November 18, 2024, with delivery expected within 120 days after receipt of the purchase order.

Place of Performance
The delivery location is specified as County of San Diego, DGS Fleet Services, located at 5610 Overland Ave, San Diego, CA 92123.
