RFP No. 26-22 Data Management and Business Intelligence Platform Solution

Background
The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) is seeking a hosted solution for an integrated data warehouse and business intelligence (BI)/analytics platform. The goal of this initiative is to enhance the District's capacity to utilize timely, accurate, and relevant data for decision-making across all organizational levels.

SBCUSD serves approximately 44,000 students across 74 schools in a diverse community within San Bernardino County, California.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive data management and BI solution that includes:
- A hosted integrated data warehouse capable of storing and integrating data from various sources.
- A BI platform that allows for the creation and dissemination of reports and dashboards.
- Features to track student data including assessments, academic performance, demographics, attendance, program participation, behavior, interventions, and student plans.
- The ability to import state-mandated assessment results (e.g., CAASPP, ELPAC) as well as other locally designed assessments.
- Data lake capabilities for securely uploading and managing ad hoc datasets from various sources in both structured and unstructured formats.
- Support for interoperability with third-party BI platforms while minimizing duplicative data pipelines.
- User-friendly access to different types of data for monitoring student achievement and evaluating intervention effectiveness.
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence in July 2026 following board approval in May 2026. The initial term will be one year with the possibility of four additional one-year extensions.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the San Bernardino City Unified School District located at 777 North 'F' Street, San Bernardino, CA 92410.

Bidder Requirements
