Background
The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) is the seventh-largest public school district in California with an average enrollment of about 48,000 students. SBCUSD encompasses 105 square miles in the center of San Bernardino County and operates 49 elementary schools, 11 middle schools, 9 high schools, a special education center, preschools at many school sites, a virtual academy, and an adult school.
The population served by SBCUSD is predominantly Latino with a large Spanish-speaking community.
Work Details
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek competitive proposals from well-qualified service providers to provide low performing students’ grades TK-12 one-on-one and small group tutoring and related services as described in the Scope of Work statement.
The successful Proposers shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, and supplies required to fulfill services needed.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for one (1) year from the Board of Education approval but may be extended for four (4) additional successive one-year extensions, not to exceed an accumulative total of five (5) years.
Pricing shall be held firm for the duration of the contract.
