Background
The County of San Diego is seeking proposals from firms to provide Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) Services as part of its Department of Behavioral Health Services. The goal is to enhance mental health crisis intervention in the community, specifically targeting underserved populations. The County plans to award up to two contracts for different geographic regions, focusing on improving access to mental health services and ensuring timely responses to crises.

Work Details
The MCRT services will include:
- Providing mobile crisis intervention 24/7 in designated regions (Lot 1: North Inland and North Coastal; Lot 2: North Central, Central, South, East).
- Teams must be composed of qualified professionals capable of addressing mental health crises effectively.
- Establishing partnerships with local law enforcement and community organizations to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Implementing a culturally informed approach that meets the needs of diverse populations.
- Ensuring timely access to care through referrals and follow-ups for up to 30 days post-crisis.
- Developing a detailed program design that includes staffing, training, outreach plans, and vehicle fleet structure.

Period of Performance
The contract term is expected to be one year initially, with six additional one-year options for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in specified geographic regions within San Diego County, particularly focusing on the North Inland and North Coastal areas for Lot 1.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must demonstrate experience in providing similar services and submit a Small-Local Business Utilization Plan if applicable. They are required to comply with all local regulations and provide necessary certifications as part of their proposal.
