Work Details
The selected Investment Advisor must be a registered Investment Advisory as defined by the SEC and must provide the following services:
- Full-time non-discretionary investment management
- Cash flow/maturity analysis
- Credit analysis of investment instruments
- Technical and fundamental market research
- Detailed monthly reports on portfolio activity
- Separate quarterly and annual performance reports
- Attendance at quarterly meetings with City officials
- Evaluation of market risk
- Assurance of compliance with laws and policies
- Establishment of performance benchmarks
- Annual review of the City's Investment Policy
- Assistance in maintaining an authorized broker/dealer list
- Due diligence reviews of broker/dealers
- Monitoring creditworthiness of financial institutions
- Cooperation with independent auditors
- Periodic training for staff on investment topics
- Other requested advisory services.
The primary investment objective is to achieve a reasonable rate of return while prioritizing safety and liquidity.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, for a period of three years, with the possibility of extension for an additional two years upon mutual agreement.
