Background
The County of San Diego is seeking proposals for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Product and System Integration Services through Request for Proposal (RFP) 12689. The goal of this contract is to implement a new ERP system that enhances operational efficiency and meets the County's functional, technical, and security requirements.
The selected contractor will be responsible for managing the entire implementation process, ensuring that all services are delivered effectively and in alignment with the County's objectives.
Work Details
The contractor will provide a comprehensive range of services including:
1. Program Initiation and Management: Establishing processes for program management, including creating a Program Information Library, developing a Program Plan, and monitoring program status.
2. Organizational Change Management: Planning and executing strategies to manage change within the organization during the ERP implementation, including communication strategies and training plans.
3. Requirements Analysis: Analyzing use cases developed by the County, conducting fit/gap analysis against functional, technical, and security requirements, and delivering final use cases and traceability matrices.
4. Design: Defining solution architecture and preparing security plans.
5. Configuration and Development: Developing system configurations based on analyzed requirements.
6. Customizations: Implementing necessary customizations to meet specific needs of the County.
7. Interfaces and Integrations: Developing integrations with existing systems as required.
8. Data Conversion and Migration: Preparing for data migration activities including mock data conversion reports.
9. Reporting: Developing reporting specifications, dashboards, and self-service reporting capabilities.
10. Testing: Planning and executing testing phases including user acceptance testing (UAT).
11. Training: Conducting training sessions for end-users along with providing training materials such as user guides and help documentation.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period defined in the proposal but is expected to include multiple phases from initiation through post-production support lasting approximately 180 days after go-live.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at locations designated by the County of San Diego.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience in ERP implementations similar in scope to this project, possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by law or regulation, and have a proven track record of successful project management.
