Rfp - Behavioral Health Patient Rights Education And Advocacy Services

Background
The County of San Diego is seeking proposals from firms to provide Behavioral Health Patient Rights Education and Advocacy Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that patients receiving behavioral health services are informed of their rights and have access to advocacy support. The County aims to enhance the quality of care and support for individuals in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive education and advocacy services related to patient rights in behavioral health. This includes:

1) Providing education on patient rights to clients in both outpatient and inpatient settings;
2) Developing outreach strategies to engage the target population;
3) Implementing a Grievances & Appeals program;
4) Conducting client satisfaction surveys;
5) Ensuring advocacy at LPS hearings;
6) Training designated professionals on client rights;
7) Coordinating recertification processes for professionals;
8) Collecting and analyzing data related to service delivery and client feedback.

The contract will also require the submission of a detailed implementation plan, including timelines and milestones.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is one (1) year, with four (4) one-year options, starting from July 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided countywide within San Diego County, California.
