RFP 6250 - Janitorial Services

Background
The County of Ventura, through its General Services Agency (GSA), is seeking proposals for Custodial Services across various facilities totaling approximately 550,000 square feet. The goal is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in office, detention, law enforcement, and government spaces. This may include medical facilities requiring stringent cleaning standards. The County reserves the right to award contracts to multiple contractors based on location or agency needs. Historical expenditure for custodial services was $1,086,539 for the fiscal year 2011-2012.

Work Details
The contractor will provide custodial services at thirty-one (31) County facilities. Services include regular cleaning as per task frequency sheets, additional services as needed, and emergency cleaning. The contractor must ensure that all staff providing services undergo extensive background security investigations twice a year. Special protocols are in place for high-security facilities managed by the District Attorney, Probation, and Sheriff’s Department.

Period of Performance

Bidder Requirements
