RFP 24-080 Electrical Services for Equipment

Background
The City of Banning is seeking a qualified entity or individual to provide electrical services for its water and wastewater facilities. The City, incorporated in 1913, is strategically located between the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley. The goal of this contract is to establish a reliable service provider capable of performing necessary electrical maintenance and repairs for various city facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide On-Call electrical maintenance and repair services at City water and wastewater facilities, which include:

- Wastewater Lift Station Sites
- Water Pump Station Sites
- Water Storage Tank Sites
- Water Well Sites
- Pressure Reducing Stations
- Flow Control Stations
- Hydro Pneumatic Tanks.

Services include new electrical installations, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs, expediting services, regular service calls, emergency service calls, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, and supplies required for the work. All work must be warranted for a minimum of one year for parts and labor.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will last one year from the date of execution with options to extend for four additional one-year terms based on performance.

Place of Performance
City of Banning water and wastewater facilities located within the city limits.

Bidder Requirements
Proposals will only be considered from companies that have at least five years of experience in providing similar services under a legally registered business name. A General Contractor Class C-10 license is required. Companies must also register with the Department of Industrial Relations and create an account on OpenGov to be listed as prospective bidders.
