Background
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Mobile Safety Camera Trailer Systems. The goal of this contract is to enhance safety measures across school campuses by enabling rapid deployment of mobile surveillance systems in high-risk areas, ensuring real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will design and build five mobile safety camera trailer systems that are versatile for rapid deployment. Key specifications include:

- Real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities.
- Solar-powered with a high-capacity battery system for uninterrupted operation.
- High-definition video recording (minimum 1080p) with a 30-day onboard storage capacity and optional cloud storage.
- Integration with existing Genetec systems.
- Features such as PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras, long-range multi-sensor detection, and AI capabilities for human and vehicle identification.
- A retractable mast for aerial views, ruggedized communication equipment, and comprehensive onboard wiring.
- A 'train the trainer' model for staff training on system operation.
- Warranty of five years with next-day part replacement support.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on or about March 12, 2025, with an initial term of three years and two one-year option renewals.

The services will be performed at various locations within the Los Angeles Unified School District.
