Background
On behalf of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), the California Department of Technology (CDT), Statewide Technology Procurement (STP) seeks proposals from qualified bidder to provide a modern approach to permitting activities to preserve the quality of environmental permitting data and tools to analyze the information. The CDFW requires a new standardized, efficient, and technologically current solution for managing and updating all its environmental permitting data. The objective is to modernize CDFW with an environmental review and permitting solution so to better capture, store, update, issue, manage, and administer environmental permits throughout California.

Work Details
The mission of CDFW is to manage California's diverse fish, wildlife, and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend, for their ecological values and their use and enjoyment by the public. The solicitation outlines the purpose of the Request For Proposal (RFP) which is to obtain proposals from qualified bidders to provide Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and the State of California with Environmental Review and Permitting (ERP). The contract term is three years with an option for two one-year extensions. The proposed environment aims to replace all core permitting sections of Department of Fish and Wildlife data systems with new functionality beyond that available from the legacy systems.

Period of Performance
The term of the Contract is three (3) years, with an estimated start date of October 24, 2024. The State may exercise two (2) one (1) year extensions for a maximum Contract term of five (5) years.
