Rfb - As-Needed Vehicle Abatement Services

Background
The County of San Diego is seeking bids for As-Needed Vehicle Abatement Services as part of its Planning and Development Services. The goal of this contract is to provide timely and effective vehicle abatement services to address issues related to abandoned or inoperable vehicles within the county. This initiative aligns with the County's mission to enhance community safety and aesthetics.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing vehicle abatement services, which may include but are not limited to: identifying abandoned vehicles, notifying owners, removing vehicles from public property, and ensuring compliance with local ordinances.

The contract will be awarded based on the total bid price per lot, and bidders must respond to all items within a lot to be considered for award. The contract includes an initial base period of one year with four additional one-year options.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is one year, with four optional one-year extensions available based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout the County of San Diego, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Disabled Veterans Business (DVB) participation goals set forth by the County, which require at least 3% participation for task orders exceeding $1 million in annual value.

Bidders must also submit a completed PC 600 Form, Representations and Certifications Form, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Certification Form, Nondisclosure Indemnification Agreement, and other required documentation as specified in the RFB.
