Resd-Pmdb 2024-13 Inglewood Field Office Replacement

Background
The Department of General Services (DGS), Real Estate Services Division (RESD), Project Management and Development Branch (PMDB) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Inglewood Field Office Replacement project. This project involves the demolition of an existing DMV field office and the construction of a new facility designed to meet Zero Net Energy standards and achieve LEED-NC Silver certification.

The estimated cost of construction is approximately $19,719,500.00, and the contract duration is expected to be 18 months.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide professional materials testing services during the Construction Administration phase of the project. This includes testing, reports, and assessments as required for the design-bid-build project. All work must be performed under the supervision of a design professional or contractor licensed in California.

The project scope includes sitework, utilities, walkways, curbs, gutters, signage, landscape areas, trash enclosure, parking facilities, an attached drive-test canopy, and communication systems such as fire alarms and security.

Period of Performance
The estimated duration of this contract will be 18 months.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 105 W. Grosvenor Street, Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that includes a letter of interest with their Federal Identification Number (FEIN), an executive summary, Federal Form SF330 for both the firm and any proposed subcontractors, proof of current certification from the DGS Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services (OSDS), proof of registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations as a Public Works Contractor, and compliance with various certifications including Darfur Contracting Act Certification and Iran Contracting Act Certification.
