Resd Pmdb 2024-02 Commissioning - Retainer Services

Background
The Department of General Services (DGS), Real Estate Services Division (RESD), Project Management and Development Branch (PMDB) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Commissioning Services firms, pursuant to Government Code §4525 et. seq. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish retainer agreements with qualified firms to be used on an as-needed basis to support projects located throughout the State of California. The selected firm for each region may be awarded a five (5) year and $5,000,000.00 maximum total amount agreement.

Work Details
The selected firm(s) shall provide Commissioning services on an as-needed basis for new, addition, renovation, or remodel projects located throughout the State of California. The basic services to be provided may include commissioning of systems and equipment for USGBC LEED compliance, documentation for compliance with LEED criteria, California Title 24 energy calculations and LEED required energy modeling, initial design parameters, checklists and guidelines for pre-functional and performance tests, field investigations, review of existing architectural, mechanical and electrical systems, studies, reports, shop drawing review, cost estimates, training materials and presentations.
Related services may include hazardous material assessments, surveys, reports, abatement design plans/specifications, cost estimates and air monitoring.

Period of Performance
The successful firms may be awarded multi-year $5,000,000.00 agreements, up to five (5) years, on a fixed rate basis.

Place of Performance
The work shall be performed at various locations statewide in California.
