Request for Quote (RFQ SB Option) EDIS90125 - Daily Mail Pick-Up and Delivery Services

Background
The State Controller's Office (SCO) is seeking a Small Business contractor to provide daily mail pickup and delivery services for United States Postal Service (USPS) mail cages and/or mail pallets. This contract is part of SCO's mission to ensure efficient disbursement operations. The agency is utilizing the 'SB Option' to directly contract with California-certified small businesses or micro businesses, as permitted under Government Code Section 14838.5.

Work Details
The contractor will provide daily mail pickup and delivery services from the SCO Disbursements Bureau located at 3301 C Street, Sacramento, CA 95816, to the Industrial West Sacramento Post Office at 3775 Industrial Blvd., West Sacramento, CA 95799. Services are required Monday through Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. PT, with a latest pickup time of 6:30 p.m. PT if requested by SCO. Saturday services may be required with deliveries due by 10:00 a.m. PT. The contractor must ensure timely pickups and deliveries as specified in the Scope of Work outlined in Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The term of this agreement will be for three years, starting from July 1, 2025, with options to amend for additional funds or adjust service frequency as necessary.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily in Sacramento, California, specifically at the SCO Disbursements Bureau and the Industrial West Sacramento Post Office.
