Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this contract to replace a bridge, widen a box culvert, create rootwad habitat, and perform hot mix asphalt (HMA) work.
The project is located in Marin County at Point Reyes Station, specifically from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard to B Street.
The estimated amount for this contract is $19,200,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Replace the existing bridge.
2. Widen the box culvert to improve water flow and habitat connectivity.
3. Create rootwad habitat to support local wildlife and enhance ecological function.
4. Perform hot mix asphalt (HMA) work for road surface improvements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 610 working days.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted in Marin County at Point Reyes Station from Sir Francis Drake Boulevard to B Street.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess either a Class A contractor's license or a combination of Class C licenses that constitutes a majority of the work, specifically including C-8, C-61 D-09, and C-50 licenses.
