Repairs and Rehabilitation of Structural Components at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility (RWRF) Headworks Building - Phase 2

Background
The City of Fresno is issuing a contract for the Repairs and Rehabilitation of Structural Components at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility (RWRF) Headworks Building - Phase 2.

The project aims to enhance the structural integrity and functionality of the facility, which is crucial for wastewater management in the region.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Demolition and replacement of deteriorated concrete surfaces;
- Partial depth concrete slab repairs;
- Concrete wall and column repair;
- Epoxy injection to cracks in concrete walls;
- Application of chemical-resistant coatings in various confined spaces and traffic areas;
- Removal and replacement of failed joint sealants;
- Surface preparation;
- Replacement and painting of exterior metal doors.

The total construction allocation for this project is $3,459,400.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within 190 working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility located in Fresno, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid Class 'B' Contractor’s License issued by the State of California. They must also submit a Bid Deposit amounting to 10% of the Total Net Bid Amount. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with local preference certifications, including self-performing at least 30% of the contract amount with residents of Fresno County.
