Refuse Collection & Disposal Services - San Diego

Background
The State of California, through the Office of the Adjutant General of the State Military Department, is seeking bids for weekly Refuse Collection and Disposal Services at the San Diego Air National Guard Station. The contract aims to ensure proper waste management services at this facility, supporting the mission of maintaining operational readiness and environmental compliance.

The contract is set to last for a period of 36 months, commencing around July 2025 and concluding in June 2028.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and fees necessary to perform weekly refuse collection and disposal services at the San Diego Air National Guard Station located at 7288 Convoy Terrace, San Diego, CA 92111. The services must comply with the technical specifications outlined in Section 4 of the solicitation document.

The contractor must ensure that all personnel are qualified and trained to perform the required services in a careful and proficient manner.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 36 months, starting on or around July 2025 and ending in June 2028.

Place of Performance
San Diego Air National Guard Station, 7288 Convoy Terrace, San Diego, CA 92111.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Motor Carrier Permit issued by the DMV. Additionally, contractors are required to self-perform at least twenty percent (20%) of the total work under the contract. All subcontractors must also be licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) for their respective trades.

Bidders wishing to claim Small Business Preference must be certified by the Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran’s Business Enterprise prior to bid opening.
