Refrigerated Incubator

Background
The City of Los Angeles is seeking quotes for a Refrigerated Incubator as part of its procurement process. The goal is to furnish the requirements for goods and/or services specified in this document, which aims to support the operations of the city departments.

Work Details
The contract involves providing a 10-cubic-foot refrigerated incubator with specific features:
- A solid door
- Two clock-controlled 3500K LED door lights
- A coated evaporator coil

It must include a microprocessor with a digital display controlling the temperature range from 2-50 degrees Celsius, with an accuracy of plus or minus 1 degree Celsius at the sensor. The uniformity of temperature throughout the chamber should be within plus or minus 2.5 degrees Celsius. The incubator must have high and low temperature failsafe mechanisms. Each shelf (21" x 17") should be made of powder-coated epoxy steel wire construction capable of supporting up to 50 lbs. Three shelves are included in the design.

Period of Performance
The contract period starts from the date of award until June 2, 2027, with an option for additional quantities if needed before this date.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to the City of Los Angeles at an address provided upon receipt of the Purchase Order (PO). The estimated shipping address for freight/shipping estimations is 12000 Vista Del Mar, Playa Del Rey, CA 90293.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with various requirements including registration on the Los Angeles Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMP), adherence to local business preferences if applicable, and completion of necessary affidavits related to Equal Benefits Ordinance and Non-Discrimination/Equal Employment Practices.

Bidders are also required to provide information regarding Small Local Business certification if applicable.
