Background
The City of Milpitas’ Recreation and Community Services Department is seeking responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQual) from vendors who can provide recreation and community services classes in various areas such as arts and music, enrichment, parent and me, sports and fitness, and technology for participants ranging in age from pre-k to seniors.
The goal is to pre-qualify vendors who can develop comprehensive curricula, provide professional instructors, and supply necessary class materials while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Work Details
Selected Vendors shall:
1. Develop comprehensive curricula for classes in arts, music, enrichment, sports, fitness, and technology.
2. Provide professional instructors with relevant experience and qualifications.
3. Supply all necessary class materials.
4. Maintain current insurance and comply with Milpitas business license requirements as well as California Secretary of State registration.
Vendors will be contacted by the City prior to each season to submit specific proposals for upcoming seasonal classes.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed on a seasonal basis with evaluations occurring on specified dates: September 18, December 4, and April 24 each year.
Place of Performance
Classes will be held at City facilities in Milpitas, California.
Bidder Requirements
Vendors must maintain current insurance, possess a Milpitas business license, be registered with the California Secretary of State, demonstrate relevant work experience or certifications related to the classes offered, and comply with all applicable laws governing the performance of services.
