Description

Background
The City of San Bruno Community Services Department is seeking proposals from qualified janitorial service providers to maintain the Recreation and Aquatic Center (RAC). The goal is to ensure a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for the public across various high-traffic areas including restrooms, locker rooms, fitness areas, classrooms, and event spaces. Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services including:

- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms
- Daily and periodic floor care (hard floor and carpet)
- Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintaining adequate janitorial supplies
- On-call cleaning services
- Ensuring compliance with performance standards outlined in Appendix A.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term will be one year with options for renewal or extension up to three additional years based on mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate a minimum of five consecutive years of janitorial experience in public or high-traffic facilities. Proposers must also maintain valid operating licenses and required permits. Background checks for all personnel are required prior to deployment.
