PW IFB 24-42008-000 Parking Lot Sealcoating and Restriping

Background
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking bids for a contractor to perform parking lot sealcoating and restriping in three parking lots located on hospital grounds in Napa.

This project is classified as a public works project under Labor Code 1720, requiring compliance with prevailing wage laws. The goal of the contract is to enhance the safety and usability of the hospital's parking facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance, bonds, and personnel to complete the following tasks:

1. Clean all vegetation and debris from cracks, edges, and surfaces of the parking lots.
2. Prepare asphalt for hot crack sealant application.
3. Apply sealcoat to approximately 164,150 square feet across three parking lots:
- Parking Lot A: Estimated 73,600 sq. ft.
- Parking Lot B: Estimated 33,250 sq. ft.
- Parking Lot C: Estimated 57,300 sq. ft.
4. Perform restriping of the parking lots as per specifications.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the agreement is from November 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on the grounds of the Department of State Hospitals located at 2100 Napa Vallejo HWY, Napa, CA.
