Background
The State of California, through the Department of General Services and the California Department of Water Resources, is issuing a contract for the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) at the Chrisman Pumping Plant in Kern County, California.
This project aims to enhance sustainability efforts by providing necessary infrastructure for electric vehicles as part of the state's commitment to environmental stewardship.

Work Details
The project involves labor, materials, and services necessary for installing and electrically connecting EVSE infrastructure. Key components include:
- Installation of wiring devices and all associated items for a complete operational system, including required testing.
- Saw cutting, trenching, backfilling, and finishing of the affected lot surface to restore it to its original condition.
- Installation of bollards as required by the contract.
- Provision and installation of all items shown on construction drawings including ADA accessible ports unless otherwise noted.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days from the start date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Chrisman Pumping Plant located in Kern County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as Small Business or Micro Business through the California Department of General Services. A valid C-10 contractor's license is required to bid on this project.
Additionally, bidders must submit Certificates of Reported Compliance (CRC) for any fleet vehicles used in compliance with California Air Resources Board regulations prior to contract execution.
Bidders are also required to attend a mandatory virtual pre-bid site inspection.
