Background
The Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive Information Technology (IT) services. The goal is to support the agency’s operational, administrative, and public meeting functions, ensuring high-quality technical support and strategic guidance aligned with evolving technological needs.
Work Details
The selected contractor will provide ongoing network administration, cybersecurity management, cloud and systems support, desktop and device management, help desk services, audio-visual meeting support, phone system maintenance, website support, and strategic technology planning. Services will be delivered on an as-needed basis, including both remote and on-site support. Specific tasks include:
- Maintenance of cloud-based applications and network infrastructure.
- Proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance of IT systems.
- System upgrades and disaster recovery management.
- User training and detailed reporting for operational continuity.
- Management of all office computer and phone systems including software, communications, databases, emails, files, printers, servers.
- Desktop support functions such as installation of computers and peripherals, troubleshooting application problems, and maintaining hardware inventory.
- Network security services including antivirus maintenance and security audits.
- Support for board meetings with audio-visual systems ensuring public accessibility via platforms like Zoom.
Period of Performance
The contract includes an initial three-year term with two additional one-year renewal options.

Services will be performed at the Stanislaus Council of Governments located at 1111 I Street, Suite 308, Modesto, CA 95354.
