The City of San Bernardino is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide pre-employment background screening services for prospective City employees and volunteers. Work Details
The selected contractor will provide a comprehensive range of pre-employment background screening services, which may include:
1. Online candidate entry for prospective employees and volunteers, including FCRA-related forms.
2. Verification services such as Social Security Number (SSN) validation, name and address trace, criminal records checks (covering seven years), sex offender registry checks, driving records, employment verification, professional license verification, and limited credit checks where applicable.
3. Risk management assessments to identify inconsistencies in candidates' histories that may indicate fraudulent or misrepresented information.
4. Integration with NEOGOV for seamless data synchronization and workflow automation across HR processes.
5. Timely delivery of reports within five business days of request initiation.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all required services are completed as per the agreed terms outlined in the Professional Services Agreement.

Services will be performed primarily at the City of San Bernardino's facilities, with potential online components for candidate data entry.
