Pre-employment & Annual Physical Examination Services

Background
The State of California, under the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) titled 'CS259001' for Pre-Employment & Annual Physical Examination Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that applicants and current employees at Canyon Springs, which employs approximately 150 individuals, are physically qualified for their specific jobs through comprehensive evaluations and necessary medical testing.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:

- Pre-employment physical examinations
- Annual health evaluations
- First aid evaluations
- Lab testing
- Administration of required vaccinations

Specific tests and vaccinations include:

- CBC (Complete Blood Count)
- Urinalysis (UA)
- Comprehensive chemistry panels
- Tuberculosis skin tests
- Drug screenings
- Hepatitis B vaccinations
- Various titer tests

The contractor must ensure that all personnel performing these services are properly licensed and certified as per California regulations. A detailed scope of work is outlined in Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, or upon full execution of the agreement and will continue through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Canyon Springs located at 69-696 Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
