Background
The City of San Bernardino Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency serving over 222,000 residents across a 62-square-mile area. It operates 24/7 and manages a fleet of over 200 vehicles, including marked police interceptors and unmarked cars for investigative units.

The City is seeking qualified vendors to provide upfitting services for various Ford law enforcement and emergency response vehicles. These services must be performed by certified Ford Pro Upfitters to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive upfitting services for City-owned law enforcement and emergency response vehicles. This includes the installation of specialized equipment such as emergency lights, consoles, partitions, and technology components. All work must adhere to the technical specifications outlined in Attachment 'A' of the solicitation.

Vendors must be certified by Ford Motor Company under its Ford Pro Upfitter program. Specific equipment to be installed includes but is not limited to: Go Rhino bumpers, ES100C speakers, various LED lights (including corner flashers), siren/light controllers, Gamber Johnson console boxes, Getac vehicle docking stations, and K9 transport systems.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the Vendor Services Agreement. The vendor must be available to begin work within 180 calendar days of contract award.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the City of San Bernardino's facilities or as directed by the City.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must possess a California C-7 (Low Voltage Systems) or C-10 (Electrical Contractor) license and a San Bernardino City Business License. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for public works projects.

The successful vendor must maintain active registration with DIR throughout the project duration.
