P2540012: Facility Systems Maintenance and Repair at San Joaquin Hatchery, San Joaquin County, California

Background
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, under the Natural Resources Agency, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) P2540012 for Facility Systems Maintenance and Repair at the San Joaquin Hatchery.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of critical facility systems to support the agency's mission in wildlife conservation and management.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits, and taxes necessary for inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repairs as follows:
- Twice yearly maintenance of seven (7) State-owned HVAC units.
- Once yearly maintenance of one (1) walk-in freezer/refrigerator.
- Once yearly servicing of one (1) domestic water pump with associated plumbing and electrical components.
- Sanitizing and thorough inspection of one (1) ice machine.
- Quarterly maintenance of one (1) industrial ice machine.
- Other miscellaneous work as required.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval from the Department of General Services (DGS) and will continue through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
San Joaquin Hatchery located at 17372 Brooktrout Dr., Friant, CA 93626.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed as either a General Engineering Contractor or a General Building Contractor.
All contractors or subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for public works projects exceeding $25,000.
Bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage laws and provide documentation regarding Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation.
