P2540009: Generator Maintenance and Repair, at Merced River Hatchery, Merced County, California

Background
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), under the Natural Resources Agency, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) P2540009 for generator maintenance and repair services at the Merced River Hatchery in Merced County, California. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational reliability of a Cummins diesel generator Model #C125 D6C through regular maintenance and necessary repairs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits, and taxes necessary for two instances of inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of the Cummins diesel generator Model #C125 D6C. This includes any other miscellaneous work as required to maintain the generator's functionality.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence upon approval from CDFW or DGS (if applicable) and will extend through June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Merced River Hatchery located at 4998 Robinson Road, Snelling, CA 95369 in Merced County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed as either a General Engineering Contractor (A), General Building Contractor (B), or Electrical Contractor (C-10). All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for public works projects exceeding $25,000. Bids must include a Cashier’s Check or Bidder's Bond equal to at least 10% of the bid amount. Additionally, bidders must comply with prevailing wage laws and submit required documentation including a Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet and a List of Proposed Subcontractors.
