Description

The project is located at Imperial Wildlife Area, Imperial County, California. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to repair a hunter check station and other miscellaneous work, as outlined in the Items of Work. License Requirements: A or B with the following requirement: C-22 License or ASB Asbestos Certification If the Bidding Contractor does not possess the required license or certification, then the Bidding Contractor shall subcontract with a contractor having the said license. Lead Abatement Lead-Related Certificate (LRC) from the Department of Public Health, Childhood Poisoning Prevention Branch. If the Bidding Contractor does not possess the required certificate, then the Bidding Contractor shall subcontract with a contractor with said Certification. Estimated Cost: $ 300,000.00 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposed only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small business Subcontractor participation: A five percent (5%) Small business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a completed STD 811 must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that :No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive Mandatory Jobwalk is scheduled at the jobsite on March 11, 2025 @ 10:00 AM. The contractor must attend the jobwalk to bid on this project.
