P2460007 - Roll Up Door Maintenance & Repair (third posting)

Background
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, under the Natural Resources Agency, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) P2460007 for the maintenance and repair of roll-up doors at the Fish Springs Hatchery located in Inyo County, California.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that the state-owned hatchery building roll-up doors are properly maintained and repaired to function safely and effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits, and taxes necessary for the annual inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of up to fourteen (14) state-owned hatchery building roll-up doors.
The work must comply with all specifications, terms, and conditions outlined in the solicitation.
Specific services include:
- Annual inspections of roll-up doors
- Routine maintenance to ensure proper functionality
- Repairs as needed to maintain safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and will continue until June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Fish Springs Hatchery located at 215 Fish Springs Road, Big Pine, CA 93513.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed as either a General Engineering Contractor (A), General Building Contractor (B), or Limited Specialty Contractor (C-61: D-28 - Doors, Gates and Activating Devices).
Additionally, contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for public works projects exceeding $25,000.
Bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage laws as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations.
A bid security in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond equal to at least 10% of the bid amount is required for bids over $5,000.
